ELG FZE on behalf of FrontierMEDEX are currently inviting applications from suitably qualified and experienced Health Care Professionals (HCPs) to provide medical and welfare support to site personnel working in remote site locations both on land based sites and offshore rigs and vessels.

Both short and long term opportunities are available, usually working back to back rotations with equal time on/off, to provide primary healthcare and emergency medical response to site personnel often working in hazardous and austere environments.

Duties include clinic management; first aid and emergency response training; promotion of healthy lifestyle initiatives including fitness, alcohol awareness and healthy eating programmes; health and hygiene inspections; supporting health and safety initiatives; general administration; and computer based reporting. This position may also require supervision of a small team, including local national medical personnel.

Experience/Qualifications:
 
  • Previous international experience is preferred but not mandatory
  • Experience of working in the military or on expeditions may be beneficial
  • Minimum of three years' post medical qualification work experience
  • Current Medical Registration
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification
  • Trauma Management Certification
  • Offshore Survival and Safety training with HUET (for Offshore opportunities only)
  • Good levels of health and fitness
  • Computer literate
